Optimal Delusions

Following the birth of her first child, Sydney Spears-Francis wrote a book on infant parenting and landed with a prominent publisher thanks to the help of her best friend and agent, Kevin Russell.

When Sydney approached Kevin about representing the rest of her career, he signed her. Things were seemingly off to a great start until Sydney hired a film crew to document her comeback and began hatching plan after plan to break back into the entertainment industry. She tried everything from recording a hip‐hop demo to shooting a cooking show to reach the top where she felt she belonged.

Shot in and around Austin, TX, Optimal Delusions was the final project that marked the end of the first era of Bargo Productions.
